On May 23rd and 24th, 2015, we exhibited Jumpstart eXstream, a VR experience using a real car, at HARLEY-DAVIDSON BLUE SKY HEAVEN held at Fuji Speedway.
Driving data from HARLEY-DAVIDSON STREET 750 is fed back into the VR space.
The user actually straddles the STREET 750 with the engine running, operates the gears and accelerator, and travels through Monument Valley in the VR space.

By putting a motorcycle on the JumpStart, you can experience the engine start, gear change, and vibration as it is on the actual vehicle.
Receive driving information such as speed and clutch using Arduino from the ECM from the bike and send it to Oculus for drawing.
The air volume of the front fan changes in conjunction with the speed.

By using JumpStart, you can simulate driving and vibration on a Harley without a driver's license.
